Olympian Mindset

Have you ever been amazed by all the facets of Olympian? Often, the olympian has achieved endurance through devotion, persistance, and committment in rigorous training. The olympian often has experienced a setback related to health and sometimes the financial constraints to committ fully to their craft. The olympian has to sacrifice to invest physically, emotionally, and financially to keep their eye on the prize and remain competitive above and beyond their peers. The olympian has to develop a strategy, commit to a plan, enhance or revise the plan, and follow a reptitious cycle. The olympian often has a technique, trait or style in their craft that sets them apart from others. This can uniquely position them or influence their judges or even reasons why companies may want to endorse them or why the olympian wants to endorse or launch a product. How does this all relate to you and this blog? Uplifted Today is about sharing words of optimism, positivity and affirmations. Often, to be in a place of optimism and believing in the affirmations, we have to put in the effort to move from believing to actual reality like an olympian. As you embark on a goal, challenge, or aspiration today, tomorrow and beyond, develop and execute your olympian mindset. Challenge yourself today by creating a goal and destination map for 2025. Determine what and who is part of this goal journey. Learn from being uncomfortable, critics, disappointments, and don't forget to celebrate milestones. This may inspire others but most of all inspire you. Asking for help may look like investing in coach, an expert to enhance an aspect that may contribute to your success, training, an accountability partner, investor and even building a team. Take the risk. Make the u-turn if needed. Cry, laugh, smile, and strategize like the mindset of an olympian but most of all get back up if you fall down and always hold your head high.

Quench Your Thirst, Hydrate Your Mind

Uplifted Today created the concept of "Quench Your Thirst, Hydrate Your Mind" after contemplating how often we are compelled to satisfy our immediate need and not our growth and development in situations. In our daily relationships whether personal or business, we have to evaluate the effort we are placing into our holistic growth as individuals. You have to determine the barometer of measuring your holistic growth. Uplifted Today developed a set of key questions to help measure holistic growth. What did I learn? Create Your Mood of Happiness

Create your mood of happiness wherever you are! This year we are saturated with repetitive echoes of universal challenges. We can take moments daily to focus on happiness. This happiness may include reminiscing on photos from years ago, taking a walk, reorganizing a room, starting a new project or changing something to a color-coded feature. Growing and cooking food made me happy. My happiness activities were gardening, visiting ethnic food stores and cooking new dishes, and decluttering the closet these past few months.

New Year, New Month, New Day, New Hour, New Second = New Start

@upliftedtoday is on threads and Instagram. Today's post was New Year, New Month, New Day, New Hour, New Second = New Start. The truth is any moment you make a committment, change, or new habit it can begin at any second. Often we use January 1st to begin a New Year Resolution. It is the way we are programmed on the Gregorian Calendar. Most of us postponed our goals to a start date. We may wait until the beginning of the month, the next day, or the next hour to start something. I encourage you to take a moment and write down everything you would like to do or accomplish. Then, write down the initial step you can start today related to what you would like to do or accomplish. Review the list daily and continue to add the subsequent second and next steps daily or weekly. Find you a trusted accountability partner to share the list daily and your updates minimumally on a bi-weekly basis. Follow my blog with Bloglovin
